About the Summit

The organizers envision the Summit as an opportunity for librarians, teachers and other practitioners across the educational spectrum to come together to share ideas and strengthen information literacy throughout the Midwest.

Through the years, the Illinois Information Literacy Summit has benefited from the support of the
Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges, Southern Illinois Learning Resource Centers, the Illinois State Library, Illinois Central College, John A. Logan College, and Illinois State University Milner Library.

Special thanks also to Heather Jagman from DePaul for getting the partnership between Moraine Valley and DePaul started and running for the 2014 and 2015 Summits.
